Oregon House began as a dream.

A dream of a place for people to gather and create. A dream of collaboration. And a dream of the future.

With Leslie Steeve’s dream, my team and I created a fundraising campaign in order to build a University of Oregon guesthouse on the University of Ghana campus. We wanted to bring the donors in on the experience one would go through if this meeting place and residence became a reality. We did this by telling previous students’ stories throughout our campaign.

POSTCARDS

The bulk of our campaign was made up of postcards, which would be sent to potential donors (one card a week) over the course of four weeks. These would be written by actual students who were studying abroad in Ghana. This would give donors the most authentic version of the experience possible.

DONOR BOOKLETS

We created donor booklets that would give donors all the information. This connects the emotional foundation we have set to logical information that would justify a donation.
